Today, almost everyone knows the omega watch brand. The company has achieved a high level of popularity due to its exceptional design and product quality. This mark demonstrates the prestige and well-being. The key difference between Omega watches and other watch brands is their rich history. Louis Brandt is the founder of the company, he was born on may 13, 1825 in the town of La Brevine, which is located in Switzerland. His first workshop specializing in the Assembly of pocket watches, he opened in La Chaux-de-Fonds, when he was 23 years old. Initially, in his work, he collected accurate pocket watches from the purchased parts, which were then bought with great success throughout Europe.

Louis's accessories were popular in Italy, Australia, France, Holland, England and Belgium. In 1877, his own son Louis-Paul became a partner, and it was then decided to name the flourishing firm Louis Brandt & Fils. Since 1891, the factory has produced watches under the following brands: Celtic, Patria, Jura, Labrador, Gurzelen and Helvetia, which allowed it to quickly develop new markets. The number of jobs in ten years was doubled and exceeded the figure of 600 people. Well-established trade relations in Brazil, Argentina, Canada and the United States, plus exports throughout Europe, have enabled the production of more than 100,000 Swiss wristwatches per year. For the first time, the Omega name was used in 1894, when the omega 19-line caliber was created.

Omega's activities today.
In 1999, for the first time, the production of coaxial mechanisms in the Omega De Ville Co-Axial model was delivered, which allowed for an amazing accuracy. Omega is the only company in the world that produces wrist accessories with a Co-Axial release, changing the usual principle of operation of mechanical watches, which has existed for more than 200 years.
